Hello!
I'm trying to track an interior shot, which I also took some lidar scans of. When I track the conventional way, it get's kinda rough and I find that it takes way to long. But when I use a geometry track, import the scan. click off the "moving object" button so the camera moves instead, I get a really good track. Everything seems to stick. But I can't get a solve from that. If I go to a camera solver, It seems to only use the trackers and disregards my track from the geometry track.
Even if I use the "upstream hint". I would like to have the solve to get an accurate st map for use later. Is it possible to use the camera you got from a geometry track to use in a solve?
Hey Jonas, any reason why you are using a 'Camera Solver'? You can just bolt a 'Scene Export' node directly after 'Geometry Track' and export the camera using a compatible file format such as FBX.
With this method, you will have ideally resolved your optical distortion in the Clip Input node/distortion tab first or a camera preset, in which case you may be better off using the 'Survey Solver', especially if you have access to a Lidar scan.
If you get stuck, send us a message via in-app support, and we can help you from there
